Thought leadership. Many B2B marketers and executives play it lip service. However there is a direct correlation between marketshare (and revenue growth, profitability …..) and the degree to which a company is perceived as the thought leader in their market. Unless a company dedicates significant resources to building their though leadership brand, they WILL NOT WIN, regardless of their current market position or quality product or service.
